School of Law

“Certain other societies may respect the rule of force — we respect the rule of law.” — John F. Kennedy

The JFK School of Law offers many paths to a degree in the legal field.

If you are considering a career as a lawyer, and are looking for an online JD program, the JD program at the JFK School of Law has been continually accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners for the State Bar of California since 1981.  Our program emphasizes the practical application of theory, preparing students to successfully sit for the CA Bar Examination and enter the legal profession as highly skilled, ethical, and passionate legal professionals.

If you are considering either an undergraduate degree in law to prepare you for law school, or a degree or certificate to work as a paralegal, we have several American Bar Association (ABA)-approved undergraduate paralegal and pre-law degrees to prepare you for a wide range of positions in the legal field. Paralegals are valued members of a legal team, but they may not provide legal advice or legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law.

We value the flexibility that distance learning provides, and the importance of faculty-to-student mentorship and student-to-student interaction. Additionally, the JFK School of Law provides law students the opportunity to enroll in courses that blend both synchronous and asynchronous learning — allowing you to work towards a law degree on your own time, and from a place that is convenient for you.
