Lindsay is a licensed clinical psychologist who obtained her doctorate at Antioch University New England. Over the past 16 years, Lindsay has specialized in forensic psychology with a focus on psychological testing, crisis intervention, and consultation, particularly as it relates to risk and threat assessment. She spent an extended period of time working in federal and state prisons, and combines this knowledge with her training in neuropsychology, to inform her forensic assessment work in the community. Lindsay has also spent time as a hostage negotiator, worked in clinical leadership and supervision, run crisis programs, and developed national mental health program initiatives. Lindsay has worked at NCU since 2015 where she began as the subject matter expert for the newly developing forensic psychology program, has developed multiple curriculums, became the initial faculty in the program, developed the internship program, and has been the Academic Program Director and Internship Coordinator throughout the programs tenure. Most recently, she facilitated a major revision of the program and the development of a new specialization in Threat Assessment and Management.
