Rodney McCurdy

Dr. McCurdy oversees the curriculum and research efforts of doctoral students in health administration addressing organizational and managerial challenges to improve health system performance. He has over 25 years of direct healthcare management experience including leadership positions at both the organizational and delivery system levels. He has extensive experience working with clinical professionals and leading multidisciplinary teams. Dr. McCurdy has over 15 years experience in higher education and research. He was a staff fellow with the Center for Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, US Department of Health and Human Services from 2016-2019. His work incorporated organizational behavior, performance measurement, and performance improvement methods to facilitate a climate for value in healthcare organizations. Dr. McCurdy retired from the US Air Force officer in the rank of Major.
