Dr. Chawla is currently the Academic Program Director (APD) for Finance programs in the School of Business and Economics at National University.
He has been serving as a professor for twenty five years and has taught in classroom and online environments at National University. He has taught several finance courses including Seminar in Financial Management, Topics in Financial Management, Financial Project, Finance Research Project, etc. at National University. Dr. Chawla’s research interests include Financial Management, and he has published several papers and made numerous academic presentations in this area. He has served on several Committees at National University including Academic Affairs Committee, Faculty Handbook Subcommittee, etc.
Dr. Chawla has earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Golden Gate University and a certified public accountant (CPA) certificate from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His hobbies include traveling and reading. In his professional positions, he had opportunities to travel to different parts of the world and interact with people from various cultures and backgrounds.
